Travel logistics

Ground transportation from Charleston International Airport (CHS): The resort is approximately 24 miles from the Charleston International Airport (about a 30-minute trip). Hired ground transportation from the airport is available. Rental cars are also available on-site.

One-way taxi fare is estimated to be approximately $60-$75 (1-2 passengers). Charleston Cab Company (charlestoncabcompany.com, 843-566-5757) and Charleston Green Taxi (charlestongreentaxi.com, 843-819-0846) are recommended; the airport may offer additional companies. Per the airport website: “The meter fare for taxi departure from the airport is $2.52 per loaded mile with no additional charge for the first two passengers. For each passenger in excess of two, a fee of $14 per passenger per trip will be charged.”

Uber fares are estimated at $20-$35.

Accommodation packages are available for stays from the evening of April 24 or April 25 through the morning of April 27. These options can be selected when registering for the meeting. Please note that those flying in from the mid-west or west coast should consider arriving on April 24 so that you can be at the resort in time for the half-day session on April 25.
